Our Value proposition
For more than 30 years, Marie Stopes Uganda has worked to advance Safe Motherhood by improving access to quality healthcare for women and families across Uganda. We work across the public and private sectors to strengthen health systems, build healthcare capacity and bring essential services closer to the communities that need them most.
Our work to promote Safe Motherhood focuses on three key areas.
Mpango wa uzazi
Family Planning is at the heart of our work. We expand access to quality contraceptive services through public and private health facilities, our network of clinics, social franchises, as well as mobile outreach services that bring care closer to underserved communities.
Post-Abortion Care
We provide access to quality post-abortion care services and work to ensure women can receive timely, safe and respectful care. Through our partnerships and health-system strengthening approach, we support healthcare providers to deliver quality services and improve access to care.
Huduma za uzazi
We contribute to improved maternal and child health by strengthening healthcare systems, building the capacity of providers and expanding access to essential maternal health services. Our work helps bring quality care closer to women and families, particularly in communities where access remains limited.
