Samuel Balamaga
Youth and Key Populations Lead


Samuel Ssanyu Balamaga is a Ugandan public health specialist with over 20 years of experience in public health interventions, program management, and health systems strengthening. He serves as the Youth and Key Populations Lead at Marie Stopes Uganda, and has previously served as a Social Franchise Coordinator with the same organization. He holds an MBA, a Master of Public Health, and is finalizing his PhD in Health Promotion [Adolescent Sexual & Reproductive Health]. Samuel has previously worked as a Health Programme Officer with World Vision, a Community Health Project Officer with The Lutheran World Federation, and as a Centre Project Director with Compassion International Uganda. He has strong expertise in capacity building, research, and reproductive health programming & adolescent health programming.
