Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits. Assist in carrying out various types of audits, including financial, operational and compliance audits to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
- Data analysis. Gather, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, discrepancies and areas of risk.
- Report preparation. Assist in the preparation of audit reports, document findings and recommend improvements to processes.
- Compliance monitoring. Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
- Risk assessment. Identify potential areas of fraud, waste or inefficiency through risk assessments.
- Follow up on Findings. Assist in tracking and ensuring corrective actions are implemented based on audit recommendations.
- Documentation. Maintaining accurate and up to date audit documentation.
- Internal control evaluation. Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Policy and procedure review. Assisting in the review of internal controls and procedures.
