Zilizotengenezwa kwa ushirikiano na mtengenezaji wa kondomu aliyethibitishwa na UNFPA \u2013 Thai Nippon Rubber Industries (TNR), kondomu hizo zinakidhi viwango vya juu zaidi vya kimataifa vya usalama, zikihakikisha uaminifu na ufanisi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daktari Charles Olaro, Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Huduma za Matibabu na Kituo cha Kuratibu Mipango ya Uzazi katika Wizara ya Afya alisisitiza kuwa,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-font-msi-sp-font-family wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMahitaji ya kondomu kwa mwaka yanayokadiriwa kwa kondomu zinazouzwa kwa bei nafuu na za kibiashara nchini Uganda ni kondomu milioni 20. Life Guard inachangia takriban 43% ya soko hili.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aliongeza kuwa kujitoa kwa kondomu za Life Guard mwaka jana kulizua pengo kubwa ambalo linaweza kudhoofisha juhudi za Wizara ya Afya za kukabiliana na kuenea kwa VVU, sambamba na mpango wa Rais wa kuharakisha kumaliza VVU na UKIMWI nchini Uganda ifikapo mwaka 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kondomu mpya za Life Guard zimefanyiwa upimaji, ikiwa ni pamoja na ukaguzi wa usalama wa kielektroniki, tathmini ya uocompatibility wa kibiolojia, upimaji wa mara kwa mara wa nitrosamine na protini \u2013 kwa kuzingatia viwango na mahitaji ya usalama ya ISO 4074, ISO 10993, ASTM, na WHO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kila kundi la kondomu hupimwa pia kwa maji ya elektroni kwa kuvuja na hupimwa kwa nguvu ya kupasuka na kubadilika kwa kutumia vifaa vya kupimia kwa hewa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baada ya kupata hati kutoka kwa Mamlaka ya Kitaifa ya Dawa, tuna uhakika kuwa Life Guard imekidhi hatua za udhibiti wa ubora na ni salama kwa matumizi kwa Waganda wote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Katika maoni yake, Mkurugenzi wa Nchi wa Marie Stopes, Dk Carole Sekimpi, alithibitisha,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-font-msi-sp-font-family wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMarie Stopes imejitolea kutoa bidhaa za ubora wa juu zaidi.
